Technology
3M™ Scotchgard™ DWR. The proof is in how dry you’ll stay.
3M™ Scotchgard™ DWR (Durable Water Repellent) is a finish added to shell fabric to make it water-repellent (hydrophobic), preventing the outer layer of fabric from “wetting out” or becoming saturated with water, which will keep you drier and more comfortable, longer.
TRUE SIZING MEANS TRUE FIT.

The right fit is imperative for optimal gear performance. That’s why we offer True Fit on all Pnuma hunting clothing.

In order to ensure you get the right gear sized to your needs, we give you a 30-day True Fit period. Purchase any Pnuma hunting apparel products and if they don’t fit correctly or you’re dissatisfied in any way simply send them back within 30 days. All returned items must be in new, re-sellable condition. You’ll receive a full refund.

In addition to traditional medium through XXXL, all Pnuma Outdoors jackets are available in Tall sizes. We’ve designed them with an additional 2” in torso length and 1.5” in the sleeves. The inseam on The Insulator pant has an additional 2” in length. No more swimming in a larger size to get the length you need.

All of our pants, with the exception of The Insulator pant and base layers, are available by waist and inseam. So, whether you’re a 32”/34”, a 40”/36”, or any other combination, you can order the size that fits you, not just the size that fits most.

And since we know that the human body, at rest or in motion, has natural bends and curves in the arms and legs, every top and bottom in every layer we offer has active-contoured elbows and knees to help improve fit and function even further.

That means you can order your size and head to the field with confidence knowing you have exactly the right gear - in the right size - for you.

SilverStrike™ Antimicrobial Technology. Nature’s scent control.
Microbes are living cells like bacteria, fungi and algae that can grow on many materials creating foul odors, discoloration, and formation of mildew and biofilm. Put your gear away wet and you know exactly what we’re talking about. The antimicrobial properties of silver, unlike harsh chemical treatments, have been known for centuries. Applying it to outdoor gear is still a great way to combat odor. SilverStrike advanced antimicrobial fabric technology prevents the formation and growth of bacteria and other odor-causing microbes, keeping garments smelling fresher longer.

Nice pants, could be better.
I was looking for a heavier weight pant for an October elk hunt in Montana. These pants looked really appealing. I will say that the pants did want they are intended to do and kept the wind from getting through when it was blowing 20+ mph. However, the knee pads on these things are completely worthless. I am a size 34x30 pant no matter what the brand. When I would go down to my knees, the knee pads slide up on my thighs. Also, the crotch vents ripped at the hem before I left. When I called customer service, who were very helpful, they said it may be 4-6 weeks before I get them back. So I just sewed up the rips and left that be. The crotch vents do work really well for helping with dumping heat which I will say is a nice feature.

I also wouldn't wear these in warmer (30+) degree weather if you are planning on being active. I feel these pants would be too warm. On the warmer days of our hunts I wore a lighter pair of pants with a base layer.

Overall, I am not displeased with my Pnuma purchases. I own the merino hat, the Selkirk jacket and the Waypoint pants. The customer service is really good and responsive and I bought all my gear on discount, which they have periodically during the year. Compared to some of the more pricey brands I feel this is worth the money and look forward to seeing what improvements they make as the company grows.

Best winter pant
I have tried all the major brands and Pnuma is my favorite. These are my go to pants for everyday winter wear. The fit, warmth, and comfort is unbeatable.

Waypoint Pant
Just received the pants yesterday and decided to give them a try today outside. Today's feel like is currently 11, winds 30+ mph and gusts up to 55mph. only spent about 15 mins outside testing and it worked great.....5'9 180# 34" waist so I went with 36" so i could layer under it. Overall fit is good, I tried it yesterday with light base layer and "attack" pants and the fit was good. If i was pushing 200# might have considered 38" if i was doing the same layering.

Versatile pants, but fix the zippers and snap closures
Awesome pants. Breathable but warm. They can used in cool weather and can be layered for afternoon tree stands sits into the late season. I use them with varying base layers from October to January, depending on the weather. You are not going to wear these in the teens, but with a good, heavy merino base layer you can comfortable sit in 30 degree weather. Light precipitation is not an issue. Very water resistant. They look cool too. They are extremely comfortable too. I love them. They have two issues:1) The snaps don't hold great on the waist and are prone to opening. They should use a button for the waist closure. 2) The zippers on the thigh pockets are prone to failure. I am sending the pants back for repair.

Top three favorite hunting tool.
Bought these pants when I decided to start hunting from a saddle. I knew I would need knee pads but I have always hated the way the straps feel on the back of my legs. The Waypoints removable knee pads have worked above and beyond my expectations. Once I got the pants afield I was quickly surprised at how well the knee pads fit and remained unnoticeable without irritating my legs. They work great in the saddle and I also soon found out that they were perfect when moving around in a popup blind. The zippered vents at the crotch area is also one of my favorite features. I am disabled (walk with a cane)and sweat a lot even when walking short distances. The vents help keep that sweat at a minimum like I couldn't believe. At first I didn't like the size of the cargo pockets, thinking them to be to big but as the weather got colder I found the pockets perfect for hand warmers to rest at my inner thighs. The pants fit true to size and I would suggest using a tape measure before ordering. Overall next to my bow and saddle these pants are my favorite hunting tool and I would hate to ever be without them.

Great pants service needs help
Great pants. Durable and warm. They do run longer than any of my other pants. Had to return 36/32 for 36/30. Very comfortable. Pockets are great. I will say that Pnuma customer service has not been good the last month or so. First they sent wrong size all together. Then they stopped taking calls. Email only which would be fine if they actually read the emails. In the past they have had excellent service. Hope they get it fixed.

Poorly designed pants
i bought the waypoint pants with the jacket in a solid colour. the jacket i love. the pants, not so much. in fact, i returned them. the waist and length were perfect (36/34) but the waist snaps kept popping open when i bent down and the waist was not tight. the pants should have a BUTTON and not snaps. additionally, the fabric is a rather thick, almost 'foamy' material and would be ideal for cold weather. i did like the soft feel in the pockets and i think the pants would be very warm. this garment, however, is NOT an athletic fit. the thighs were a little baggy and the knees did not fit right at all. i realize there are knee pads but even when they are removed the knees are baggy and the pants just felt odd. i could not get the knee pads centered over my knees and they both pointed inward. when i knelt down the pads rode up too high and my knees landed on the lower edge of the pad which was very uncomfortable. i know others really like these pants but i just did not like them at all and so i sent them back. now i am stuck with a very nice jacket but i do not have any matching pants. i'm not sure whether i should risk another purchase ....

Helps me do what I need to do with no distractions, like sliding down
These pants are terrific. They're very warm for an All-Season pant. Fit is true to size which is nice. Love the way the knee pads can be inserted and removed without taking your pants off. This time of year I'm doing lots of tree stand work, installing and uninstalling, moving stands to new spots and all, and these are great with the pocket design and knee pads. These pants are a real tool for the task at hand. I like these so much I ordered a pair of the Tenacity pants . They should be here tomorrow.

can't go wrong with these pants
Echoing other reviews - I love these pants, they fit me perfect (32x32) I'm 5'10" 160lbs. I wear them around the house they are so comfortable, the fleece inside the pockets and legs is nice, the knee pads are placed well and don't intrude when walking, the crotch vents are super nice and work very well, the main crotch fly could be a tad longer but I can't complain these pants will get used probably the most, spring fall and winter. Summer I'll be using my tenacity gaiter pant and tenacity solid.

Best active use pants
If you want these for layering, Get 1 size bigger in the waste. These come true to size and fit like a glove. I thought I would need to layer these pants, but you absolutely do not need to layer them at all!!! I have used these in 10* weather (active--I have not used these for prolonged times of no motion ie: treestand hunting) in ice and snow conditions (broom hockey on the frozen pond for 3hrs--Falling multiple times, stalking whitetail for 4hrs at a time in a winter snow storm, and hiking for 2hrs in <20* weather) and you will not be disappointed!!! I have come to use these anytime I am to go outside for periods of time and stand the risk of getting wet or needing to be warm!

Best made pants I have ever used. I was very skeptical at first. IF not for their return policy, I nearly did not buy these.

tested for real
Just spent 3 weeks guiding for elk in Idaho with these pants. With a light under layer, they are outstanding. We had snow and cold above 6000 ft for most of the hunts.Put them on at 5 am ,some days they did not come off till 10 pm. No problems !!!. Open the vents for uphill hikes, on and off horses all day. Good job people!!. Thanks ,Bruce. 10/2/17 I am 59 yrs old 6 '0 and 190 lbs .Did buy a bigger waist size to allow for layers, sent 1st pair back and service dept. was great

Best of the breed
I have similar pants from Cabelas, Kuiu and Sitka, but these pants fit better, have excellent and accessible pockets, and the knee pads are right where I need them when kneeling, and out of the way when not. We just had 2 feet of wet, heavy snow dumped on the Highland Mountains in SW Montana where I live (beats fires every which way!) and I spent many hours trudging through knee deep snow clearing tree branches, shoveling the driveway, etc and these pants worked like champs. That doesn't necessarily translate to hunting, and fit is so specific to each person, but for this 5'10", 190 pound hunter with a 30.5 inseam, the 36W-30L pants fit far better than more generic sizes from the other companies. Great product!

Best hunting/outdoor pants ever
Through 2 days of trudging through what ended up being 2 feet of early season snow(6500 ft in SW Montana) these pants paid for themselves. I was desperately trying to save my trees from this heavy, wet snow and then shoveling same from decks and drive instead of hunting, but these pants have relegated their Kuiu and Cabelas counterparts to the closet. Wish I'd had these in the Army! Seriously, the quality of material, design, and attention to detail are superb and that's what you are paying for. Interestingly, I left the knee pads in for times when I had to kneel on wet snow and they were comfortable when moving and effective on cold, wet snow.

What can I say...Comfortable, warm, well made, better than any others I've bought over the years. I've owned Sitka, Cabelas, Kryptek...these out class all of them!

Great pants
Love the product! Only thing I would say bad is the crotch zippers get cold you have to wear long boxers that cover them up or the inside part of your leg that touches them will feel the cold! I also agree with the zippers should be reversed. Now with that said they are tough and cut wind and very warm!

A great late season pant.
Love the pants! Construction and fit are spot on. The material is very warm and wind proof, based on below zero temps and 50+ mph winds.

Areas for improvement: crotch zipper could be longer, the zippers for crotch cooling should have the zippers reversed so that when closed the zipper pulls are at the bottom (so they don't look like teeth coming out of your crotch), as with every hunting or tactical pant, I have owned, the knee pads are positioned perfectly when standing but move up over the knee when bending.

No Small sizes
I am small in stature and I've had to buy medium sizes since there are no small sizes available. I've had to send back certain items due to the fit.
I'm bummed because I like your product.
Are there plans to develop a small size for your products in the future?
