3M™ Scotchgard™ DWR. The proof is in how dry you’ll stay.
3M™ Scotchgard™ DWR (Durable Water Repellent) is a finish added to shell fabric to make it water-repellent (hydrophobic), preventing the outer layer of fabric from “wetting out” or becoming saturated with water, which will keep you drier and more comfortable, longer.
True sizing means true fit.

Whether you’re looking at hunting base layers that will keep you warm, dry and comfortable all day, outer layers that protect you from wild swings in conditions while you’re in the backcountry, or anything in between, the right fit is imperative for optimal gear performance. That’s why we offer True Fit on all Pnuma hunting clothing.

In order to ensure you get the right gear sized to your needs, we give you a 30-day True Fit period. Purchase any Pnuma hunting apparel products and if they don’t fit correctly or you’re dissatisfied in any way simply send them back within 30 days. All returned items must be in new, re-sellable condition. You’ll receive a full refund.

In addition to traditional medium through XXXL, all Pnuma hunting jackets are available in Tall sizes. We’ve designed them with an additional 2” in torso length and 1.5” in the sleeves. The inseam on The Insulator pant has an additional 2” in length. No more swimming in a larger size to get the length you need.

All of our pants, with the exception of The Insulator pant and base layers, are available by waist and inseam. So, whether you’re a 32”/34”, a 40”/36”, or any other combination, you can order the size that fits you, not just the size that fits most.

And since we know that the human body, at rest or in motion, has natural bends and curves in the arms and legs, every top and bottom in every layer we offer has active-contoured elbows and knees to help improve fit and function even further. Even our gloves are designed with curved fingers to replicate the natural shape of our hands.

That means you can order your size and head to the field with confidence knowing you have exactly the right gear - in the right size - for you.

SilverStrike™ Antimicrobial Technology. Nature’s scent control.
Microbes are living cells like bacteria, fungi and algae that can grow on many materials creating foul odors, discoloration, and formation of mildew and biofilm. Put your gear away wet and you know exactly what we’re talking about. The antimicrobial properties of silver, unlike harsh chemical treatments, have been known for centuries. Applying it to outdoor gear is still a great way to combat odor. SilverStrike advanced antimicrobial fabric technology prevents the formation and growth of bacteria and other odor-causing microbes, keeping garments smelling fresher—and you staying undetected—longer.

Excellent Hunting Jacket & Pants
I live and hunt in Wisc and recently purchased both the jacket and pants for a spring bear hunt out west. I needed to do a quick size exchange on the pants, and the turn around was very quick.

The jacket is very comfortable and has lots of pockets for storage of cell phone and items. Side pockets have zippers and are nice and deep. The ventilation openings were helpful as the temp on some days was mid 60's. The fabric is very quite yet stood up well hiking almost 15 miles through brush and rocky terrain. Although wind and rain we not much issue the fabric shed the light rain we had and blocks the wind well. The sleeves on my size are a little long but with the velcro wrist straps they stay secure where I want them. I like the removable hood.

The pants are the most comfortable hunting pants I've ever worn. Period. With a simple base layer the pants were very warm in temps 30-60F. Even hopping creek beds the pants actually shed water off my short hiking boots, keeping my boots dry. Great pockets, quite zippers, quiet material that endured a lot of brush and abuse and came through unscathed.

I expect this outfit will be my goto gear for many hunts to come in the fall Wisc archery seasons. I would add that if you are hunting temps more than 60's, you will want lighter gear, but I expect this gear will work down into the 20's.

My Waypoint jacket
Initial order of medium to tight in all dimensions except sleeve length. The exchange for Large size fits much better despite sleeves that are 1-2 inches to long but they can be pulled up and the wrist tapes keep them shorter. Excellent product: can't wait to use it this fall. Now if they get pants in stock in my size I will have a complete outfit.

I purchased the Waypoint system and I love it best gear I have ever had fits great. I was on the fence a couple years trying to decide if I should get it or other athletic fit brands. Glad I went with Pnuma don’t wait this stuff is amazing.

Love it! I'm 5'10" and 185lbs ordered a large and it fits perfectly! The pockets are great and quality is second to none! Very quiet and not bulky but have room to layer for late season. Will use for archery deer season and can't wait to use it on Elk hunt in Montana where the weather can change in a minute! Thank you for great products

Full Season Review 33 days afield
Wanted to do a follow up after an entire season of hunting. I feel if people are going to spend the money for the gear they should know how it held up over the course of a season. I hunted in my jacket for a total of 33 days in the field this season.

That included 7 days in Wyoming rifle and bow hunting for mule deer and antelope. The remaining 26 were spent hunting whitetails and sika deer in Maryland during archery, muzzleloader and firearms season. I wore it in the stand, still hunting, and on deer drives. Temps ranged from 60 to 21, and winds up to 40 mph (wyoming).

Habitat was marsh, swamp, farmland, thickets, briars, cactus and everything else in between. I feel I gave the jacket a real test and can saw it lived up to all expectations.
I did a fantastic job blocking the wind, did not tear or break on briars, cactus or thickets ;and was quiet when I drew back the bow.

The jacket is water repellent which helped on days when we had a quick shower. We recorded the most rain we have ever had 79 inches. On days of heavy rain I would wear a light waterproof over it.

The cuffs while tight did a great job preventing cold air and moisture in. The small little pocket was great for leaving a small items of two for the season (chapstick was one). The ability to take the hood on and off was great, especially on windy cold days.

I have used other high end clothing over the last 10 years on trips to wyoming, Pa, Canada, and Africa. I can say I don't think you can go wrong or will be disappointed with this jacket.

All Season jacket
Recently received the All Season Hunting jacket as a Birthday gift 1/19. Haven't had an opportunity to test it out during hunting conditions, so I can only speak to the fit. Went with the large for the medium would have restricted my ability to layer up based on the weather and type of hunting I am going to do. Am 5' 8" with 42" chest and 32" waist, so the large was better fit. Overall fit is good, sleeve length is good, across the chest area is good, removal and fitting into jacket is good with or without layers. My only wish is to install a two way zipper which would enhance the jacket's functionality during stand hunting. partially unzipping the bottom while sitting is more comfortable. Overall jacket is great fit, can't wait to try it out during hunting conditions 2019. Keep up the good work on clothing construction and function, and you will have a customer for life.

Very impressed with this company and the quality of their products. When my husband opened the box on Christmas he said, “OH SWEET! Camo and Odor Control are top Notch
I love this jacket like no other. The pockets, the zippered vents, the softness; all of it serves to make this my go-to hunting jacket. I was wearing it when I downed a nice 8 point whitetail at 20 yards with my bow... from the ground. The camo and odor control are top notch.

Money well spent
Wrist cuffs are a little tight, shoulders are pretty snug too, if ordering again would definitely go a size bigger. Love the camo pattern and fabrics inside and out are amazing. I just spent a day calling coyotes in 20 degree weather and 20 mile hour winds these stuff performed as advertised, I never thought gear this expensive would be worth the money or hype, I was completely wrong and wish I would have invested in this gear alot sooner, there are alot of days in the past that if I had this gear I would have stayed in the field longer and probably more successful and not running for the warmth of the truck and house, great clothes looking at adding more of the collection in the near future.

Excellent hunting jacket
Deliberately bought the quieter softshell hunting jacket rather than the full wet weather option and have now hunted in it enough to offer an opinion. Have had a week up north hunting black bear, whitetail and coyotes and 2 days closer to home in southern Alberta chasing whitetail. Not had much rain but had quite a bit of cold and grotty conditions.

Sizing is good, the cuff / sleeve comments are fair, but it is not fatal to the jacket’s performance. Pockets are well placed, accessible, well secured and numerous, what pockets are supposed to be basically. Warmth is good and the windproofing is also exactly as required, some of these days have been zero degrees fahrenheit so parky and in need of kit that is up to the job. Build quality is as good if not better than the top of the line European comparators and i am very pleased with my purchase.

The feature i like the best though is the camouflage pattern; i do a lot of stalking (on foot rather than in a truck) and with high densities of deer the chances of stumbling across a watchful deer as you move is high where i hunt. Having stalked deer for nearly 20 years now i know when something changes and with this clothing i am spooking less deer and now only when i choose to. The last animal harvested looked straight at me twice, i was standing, rifle moving to the sticks for a 100m shot. She didn’t even flinch and carried on feeding until shot. I was on open prairie, not skylined but stood fully up, fully in view and she did not register danger. The animals on that patch are pressured and wary so this reaction or lack of flight response was unexpected. And it repeated 5 times that morning with 4 animals i had to pass. My conclusion is that at least on my ground the pattern works exactly as intended and the uniqueness won’t hurt, they aren’t going to t7ne into this pattern very quickly.

Get it!!
I thought I liked the camo pattern looking at it over the internet, but when I opened the box it was 10 times better than what I imagined. Best looking camo pattern hands down. And just the feel of the material is unlike all the others. It exceeded my expectations. I normally wear a large in jackets and 32/32 in pant sizes so that’s what I got and the pants fit perfect as well as the jacket, it’s comfortable and quiet but yet it feels tough. I have some friends and family that checked it out and guess what they’re going to get now? Pnuma. You guys obviously know what hunters expect out of their camo and you guys nailed it. I will recommend this camo to anyone. Best camo I’ve ever purchased, and well worth the money. Not only that, you guys are awesome to communicate with and answer any questions. thank you again!

Great jacket that will perform as advertised
Cut does run a little tight in my opinion and was torn between L or XL. Since I will mainly be bow hunting I wanted something not as bulky so went with L. As others have said the cuffs could use a little more give for ease of on and off.

Like the vent pockets (just make sure you remember not to place anything in them. Love the opening for the harness for days in the tree stand. Used the jacket on 5 days of an 8 day DIY antelope/mule deer hunt. Cut the wind and did a great job, had days with constant wind 20-30 and gusts to 50. When sitting and glass for lengths of time in the wind, it did the job. Hood and zipper that goes all the way up helped during early mornings.

As far as water repellent, has a 4 hour snow squall one morning. Most of the jacket held up but had a bit of moisture dampen up on the inside of the forearms after a few hours.

Jacket is warm but a bit bulky so if you plan on putting it in a pack go with a larger pack or get the down jacket (my buddy had that and loved it take it out when glassing and sitting) Had no problem drawing my bow and connecting with an antelope on a spot and stalk. Looking forward to wearing it in the stand this fall for whitetails

Best Hunting Jacket you can buy!
Very comfortable and perfect for layering. This is my goto jacket for early and late season hunting as it is a bit lighter/cooler than the selkirk. I am a big guy, 6' 2" and 280 lbs and bought the XXXL because I like to be able to Zip my Badlands Bino Case inside my jacket in inclement weather. The jacket fits and wears great with or without the Bino's. This jacket is built like no hunting clothing I have owned before, just the best!

Runs small for me.
I'm 5'10" and weigh 165 lbs and normally wear a medium in all shirts and jackets. The medium fit me like a glove (literally) with no room for layering. I returned it for a large and this one is a little too big but I'm keeping it as it will allow me to layer up. Nice jacket, well appointed. Great camo pattern to match my other pnuma apparel.

The video shows that the hood zips off, mine does not so pnuma must have re-designed it since the video was made?? No big deal but I would like the option to take it off.

I purchased the Waypoint jacket last week. I am a big Pnuma supporter, but the jacket was extremely tight in the armpit. Others on here have expressed it as well, it’s a major design issue for Pnuma that hopefully gets addressed. I wear a medium in all clothing garments, so therefore I ordered a medium size coat. I had to exchange for a Large which took care of the armpit issue, but now the midsection is a bit baggy along with the arms. I will continue to purchase Pnuma products that fit property, but for a world class company with such detailed research being done on their clothing designs and fit, I feel as if his shouldn’t be happening.

Love Pnuma gear!
Originally purchased the coat in XLT. After trying it on, I found it to be right around my wrists as well as under my armpits. I sent it back and exchanged it for an XXLT and I think both of those issues were alleviated. As far as I’m concerned, the quality of Pnuma gear is unbeatable. Throw in the fact that the gear is less expensive than competitors, and it’s a no brainer! M

Very Impressed!
I recently purchased this jacket for an upcoming Archery Elk Hunt in CO this September. Upon opening the box, the first things I noticed were the Camo pattern and tough material, both are the best in my industry in my opinion! I looked at, and tried on several Sitka jackets but was never impressed with the fit, especially as it related to the length (always felt too short).

I’m 6’0 and 190 lbs with an athletic build and ordered the L Waypoint AS, it fits perfectly! I read many reviews about the tightness in the sleeves but didn’t have that same issue myself. I would say they are “fitted” but not tight....this is what I was hoping for as it will be used primarily for archery hunts.

I can’t wait to use the gear come this September...great product Pnuma!!

Season of use
Purchased the Waypoint jacket and pants. Very comfortable, quiet and easy to move in. The knee pads I did not think I would like but are nice when kneeling on everything from rocks to sticks, would not take them out. Through one season the pants went through everything and look great, blood even wipes off.
The only down side to the jacket is the cuffs being so tight.
David Strandberg, VP, provided his phone number for me to call him with questions great experience, thank you David.

its worth it
Reading other reviews it seems that many people who have bought this jacket have massive hands and wrists and complain about the cuffs. I feel this jacked was designed great with an athletic fit which isn't too bulky and allows an easy draw of your bow without getting in the way. Maybe my wrists are smaller but I haven't had a problem taking this jacket off. One review mentioned weight which I noticed as well considering I am a western back country hunter also, I feel the weight is where the durability is with this particular line up. vents work well, great pockets and hood, solid jacket all around.

Awesome Jacket
Awesome Jacket, really blocks the wind but not so heavy as to weigh you down. I originally bought the XL thinking that it might need to be bigger after layering and since I am on the big size of large and skinny side of xtra large, but was wrong in that thinking. Sent back the XL and bought the Large and it fits perfectly. This jacket is awesome and works extremely well. Good quality also, highly recommend.

Looks and feels great. The cuffs were very problematic for me. I had to send the jacket back cuz I could not get my hands back out of the sleeves unless I pulled the sleeves inside out and had to pull very hard to get my hand out.

Great jacket with a couple troubling flaws
Just received my Jacket. Wore it to hunt this morning. Warm, especially when you're moving. Love the quality. The material is great and the fabric, while not totally silent, is definitely quiet enough to draw a bow on a whitetail. zippers are easy to use one hand to open or close. The side vents are a great touch when the jacket heats up a bit. I love the camo pattern. Unique for sure.

The only things I think y'all need to work on is the interior sleeves in the shoulder/armpit, and the wrist cuffs. It is WAY TOO TIGHT. Normally, there is a little space between my armpit and the coat I am wearing. This sits in my armpit. Not a deal breaker, but not something that even a new coat would fix. This is a design issue.

Also, the wrist cuffs are so tight, getting the jacket off is a chore. This makes it incredibly problematic for tree stand hunting. Needing to shed release, gloves and contort even still to try and work one hand out of the wrist cuff so as to remove the other is just not that practical. It needs to be opened up. Unfortunately, at this price point, I can't afford to just buy another one once it is fixed. Likewise, it probably wont be a "we are going to fix it and send you a new one with the better cuffs/sleeves. It should not have this big a design issue and be sent to market. I really hope it doesn't hurt the company as I really love their stuff and the focus on the Spirit.

Cuffs too tight
I really like this jacket, I've worn it in pouring rain, it stayed dry, but the woman sized sleeve cuffs really put a damper on taking off the jacket. If I had cold fingers I'd need pliers to pull the sleeves over my hands. Maybe a more flexible material in the cuff area would help.

Otherwise it's awesome, I'd like to buy the non camo version for a daily wear jacket.... But those dang cuffs!

An excellent all-weather hunting jacket
Great hunting jacket for a multitude of climates that works well with layers. The material is very moisture and wind resistant. The hood closure has a fantastic cord design without being restrictive. The only improvement I would offer- the bottom corner of the chest pocket are not sewn for some reason I am unaware of. Keys or a pocket knife will find the bottom of the pocket and slip into the lining of the jacket. Not a huge issue, just one to be aware of if you think you lost your favorite knife or keys in the middle of nowhere. Overall, a fantastic product.

Watch out if you have large arms
I love this jacket, however, there is a major shortcoming.

I wear a XL shirt, and 2xl jackets, but when I got this jacket, I had to return it for a 3XL because the sleeves are too small.

My upper arm is 17"-19" (relaxed/flexed) and the sleeves/shoulder opening is too small.

The cuff is also too tight. (think dress shirt buttoned up)

I love the 3xl, but it is so large around the waist.

I am thinking about taking it to someone to take it in on the side.

Wish I would have found sooner
Just got my waypoint system in the mail. I purchased this system after I bought the tenacity pants and long sleeve shirt and was beyond impressed with how they performed. I've had many differnt brands of camo clothing and this , by far , is my favorite. The "athletic" fit really makes it seem like the pants and jacket were Taylor made just to fit me. I wish I could have found pnuma sooner. Thanks for a great product!

Great Jacket
I bought this jacket to go with some Tenacity pants I already had thinking I wanted a hood. The Tenacity jacket didn't show that it came with the hood.

I will say I am impressed with all the features of this jacket. Very happy with my purchase. I can say it is also very warm! I've been using it Elk hunting and it's great for when we're running the ATVs from one area to another or when setting up a calling situation. But, when hiking, whew - it is WARM! I'm sure thankful for the ventilation zippers on the sides but still had to pull this thing off. I was sweating while hiking and this even in the snow. I can see this being a great mid-season to late season jacket for normal stand hunting. I'll probably try one of the Tenacity jackets moving forward for early-season elk but I sure wish they had hoods.

Great Product
This is a really great jacket. Extremely well built and very well-designed, very quiet fabric and comfortable. It's obvious a lot of thought went into it's design. Haven't had much of a chance to use it in the woods yet, though I'm confident this product will not disappoint. Just as good if not better than my Sitka gear. My only complaint about this jacket is that for some reason I have a hard time getting my bear paws through the wrist cuffs on the jacket. It's not a big deal it's just kind of annoying taking it on and off. Also got one of their fleece pullovers and it's fantastic as well!
Suggestions: I would like to suggest to Pnuma to offer a larger variety of colors in the Waypoint Jacket as well as their fleece pullovers- I'd probably buy one in every color! Also I think it'd be neat if they made casual sweaters/fleece pullovers! Thanks Pnuma!

A real jacket
Perfect fit. Not to heavy. A great all purpose jacket. It works wonderful for early morning spotting.

Waypoint Jacket
Recently purchased Waypoint All Season Jacket and am impressed by the construction and features of jacket. I also have several pieces of Kuiu and Sitka gear and the
Waypoint is definitely competitive. I am from Pa. and winter hunting can be brutal at times so I like the weight of the jacket as well as the fit.

I just received the Waypoint system in the mail earlier this week, so consider this a review of the pants and jacket. I've been going back-and-forth for a few days now, and honestly, I'm still conflicted if I will hang onto it or not. I haven't been able to test the gear yet, so the 3-star rating only reflect first impressions; based on the construction of the gear I have no doubt it will perform quite well actually. So why am I conflicted?

First the pros: camo pattern (imo best pattern currently in the market), sharp design, technology, quiet, and well-constructed. Both the pants and jacket feel bomb-proof, and able to stand up to anything.

The cons: my real hang up is weight and bulkiness. I'm primarily a back country Western U.S. hunter and weight is key for any gear/system. The jacket for a size L is listed at 42oz! - that is unbelievably heavy and easily 20oz+ heavier than comps from First Lite/Kuiu/Patagonia. And weight seems to be an issue generally across the board. Look at the insulation jacket which is listed at 25oz - that just isn't practical given how light insulation is these days.

The jacket is bulky - it was not super comfortable when I tried on my back pack, and that was with no layers underneath. The pants pack down a bit smaller and are lighter, but are still a good 10oz+ heavier than other offerings. I tried to fit my rain pants over the pants and there is just no way it's practical or comfortable - and those rain pants are ultralight. One final nitpick item on the pants - the zippers only go halfway up the calf - not enough room to put on/take off the pants with boots on.

Ultimately here is my take: Pnuma is a relatively new company and the gear they have created is incredible, the mission statement is something I buy into, and the lifetime guarantee is a great sweetener. I think with time they will address this and various other feedback and we'll see that reflected in their future product offerings. However, I think the current lineup may be more oriented to day-only & tree stand hunters where weight is far less important and is not as applicable for the multi-day, back-country, open-West style of hunting.

A little bit annoyed but not unhappy
I just received my jacket. What can I say, it is well built. I like the removable hood and the lining. I liked the waterproof bag and the personalized name tag. I will definitely be buying more gear from them.

The one complaint I have is the strip on the collar with Pnuma's name on it. When I wear a t-shirt it rubs my neck and it does not feel very nice. If it was made out of a softer material it would be better.

Wapiti All-Season System
I am a +40 year hunter and still spend 90% of the fall in the woods and on hunting trips all over the place.
Last year I spent over 250 hours in the woods hunting upstate NY from October to November.
I did a great deal of late season hunting in the 15 to 20 degree + high wind weather and my 20 year old FS system failed me as I was cold whenever the wind was above 5 mph.

SO, I recently purchased the Entire Wapiti All-Season System including the Base layer, Mid layer and the Wapiti All-Season outer layer.
I reviewed Sitka against PNUMA for 2 months prior to making my decision and that included trying on Sitka systems at 3 locations.
Sitka makes a good product however in my opinion the cost vs. the value is not equal to PNUMA and the final decision maker was the PNUMA pattern itself.
I have used my new set up twice now and without question the PNUMA gear delivered, quite, dry and so modular I was never cold or hot.
The quality is better than I had anticipated and I am blown away at the level of concealment provided as on my first test I was sitting at the base of a tree 10 feet from 6 doe ….. the pictures I got were amazing and they seemed to look right through me until I started clicking away with the camera.
It’s clear to me that I will not be cold this year, the entire system (base, mid & outer) is a well thought out design.
I am very happy with my choice and do recommend PNUMA. .....Great company, customer service, product and best of all hunting philosophy. ~ 27:3 ~
(if you make a shirt that has 27:3 on it, I will be the first to buy it)

Waypoint system
This jacket is very wind and water resistant. I hunted in 15 degree weather on a windy day with driving snow and stayed warm and dry. Combined with the waypoint pant, makes a great foul weather spot and stalk option for any game.

Love this jacket. Smooth, quiet, warm and a great wind blocker. My only gripe is it is made in china.
