Overview
Built to get you there and back. Not to back down.

When you hunt hard your gear pays the price. And your pants are probably the biggest recipient of the seasonal beat-down. Born in the high-desert mountains of New Mexico, home of the tough-as-nails Boaz Ibex, the Pnuma Tenacity Hunting Pant is ready to take on anything and everything in its path. In the mountains it’ll wage war against cactus, sharp rocks, snagging oak brush and rock slides – and win. Away from the mountains it’ll get you through woods, thick underbrush, burrs, stand steps, and across that ever-so-lightly rusted corner on the dropped tailgate of your truck without so much as a nick. Send a message to wherever you’re hunting – you’re coming in strong. You’re coming in tenacious.

Technology
Who wouldn’t want their gear to be tenacious?

Our gear is woven ultra-tight from Dura-Fila® N66 high tenacity yarn—instead of the traditional non-tenacious N6 yarn found in other hunting apparel—making it almost impermeable to punctures and rugged wear.

True sizing means true fit.

Whether you’re looking at hunting base layers that will keep you warm, dry and comfortable all day, outer layers that protect you from wild swings in conditions while you’re in the backcountry, or anything in between, the right fit is imperative for optimal gear performance. That’s why we offer True Fit on all Pnuma hunting clothing.

In order to ensure you get the right gear sized to your needs, we give you a 30-day True Fit period. Purchase any Pnuma hunting apparel products and if they don’t fit correctly or you’re dissatisfied in any way simply send them back within 30 days. All returned items must be in new, re-sellable condition. You’ll receive a full refund.

In addition to traditional medium through XXXL, all Pnuma hunting jackets are available in Tall sizes. We’ve designed them with an additional 2” in torso length and 1.5” in the sleeves. The inseam on The Insulator pant has an additional 2” in length. No more swimming in a larger size to get the length you need.

All of our pants, with the exception of The Insulator pant and base layers, are available by waist and inseam. So, whether you’re a 32”/34”, a 40”/36”, or any other combination, you can order the size that fits you, not just the size that fits most.

And since we know that the human body, at rest or in motion, has natural bends and curves in the arms and legs, every top and bottom in every layer we offer has active-contoured elbows and knees to help improve fit and function even further. Even our gloves are designed with curved fingers to replicate the natural shape of our hands.

That means you can order your size and head to the field with confidence knowing you have exactly the right gear - in the right size - for you.

SilverStrike™ Antimicrobial Technology. Nature’s scent control.

Microbes are living cells like bacteria, fungi and algae that can grow on many materials creating foul odors, discoloration, and formation of mildew and biofilm. Put your gear away wet and you know exactly what we’re talking about. The antimicrobial properties of silver, unlike harsh chemical treatments, have been known for centuries. Applying it to outdoor gear is still a great way to combat odor. SilverStrike advanced antimicrobial fabric technology prevents the formation and growth of bacteria and other odor-causing microbes, keeping garments smelling fresher—and you staying undetected—longer.

Tenacity.Great fit!
Very impressed with the tenacity pant. Fit perfect and seem to breath fantastically. 6’5” 240lb ordered 36x36. Seems to be a very well built piece. Will be ordering more pieces. Did not recieve a dry bag with my order like others have mentioned.

6'6" and tenacity pants fit perfect
5 Stars...I am 6'6" and have been able to find NO name brand hunting pants that fit me. I must commend Pnuma on actually offering tall sizes and they FIT! I hunt Elk, Mule Deer, Oryx and these have been exceptional on all these hunts. Really impressed with Pnuma quality and SPIRIT! I had previously written Under Armour, Sitka, KUIU BEGGING them to please consider tall hunters. Cabelas carries what they call Tall and are 4" too short for me. Thank You, Thank You and My Prayer for you at Pnuma is that you succeed wildly.

Not what I wanted
I bought these for elk and deer hunting and they just aren’t what I needed. The fabric is not a brushed surface and is not quiet by any measure therefore not suitable except for a sit or brush busting. Quality of construction is excellent, the only complaint is the crotch zipper is a little short which complicates the efficient operation of the accused unit, which as we all know is problematic. These pants are suitable for upland, turkey and small game and big game hunting where a tough outer shell is required and stealth is not always necessary.

These are the most well thought out pants I've ever owned.
First off sizing - I'm 6'-2" and normally wear a 34x34 in jeans. I ordered the same size in the Tenacity pants and they fit true to size. They are slimmer athletic cut so if I planned to wear a base layer in colder weather I'd consider upsizing the waist for more room. The pockets are awesome, having a side zipper to the front cargo pockets is a simple but genius idea and if you are a pack rat like me it's easy to sneak an item from the bottom of the pocket without removing everything. The knee pads felt odd at first but I quickly stopped noticing them and love the protection they give when I kneel down or have to crawl. The pants allow unrestricted movement and would be great hiking in the mountains. These will be my go-to pants for turkey, early season elk/deer and hiking.

Don’t buy anything else
Had these pants for a year, have hunted hard; waterfowl, deer, elk, in rough prairie ground and coulees. Knee pads I initially dismissed, until I had rolled on cactus on my elbows a couple of times. Now I wouldn’t buy without knee pads, they work beautifully and the pants are also very tough. My benchmark is European gear, Härkila and while these are not quite that tough, there isn’t much in it and these are much lighter weight so very impressive. Fit is ideal, they are comfortable, well built, excellent value basically. I am a convert.

Bullet Proof
Do it all pants. I am 6'2" 240lbs. Ordered these pants according to the measurement requirements. They were the same measurements as the jeans I wear. I had to send them back and request a new size length. They came a little to long for me. The bottom of the legs would hang over the bottom of my boots and I could walk on them. Normally wear a 34 length. Exchanged for 32s and they are perfect! I am pleased with the fit. They seem bullet proof. I wore them quail hunting in the thick brush and thorns, don't forget the stickers. These pants surprisingly do very well against thorns (better than jeans) and they repel stickers amazingly. The only thing that took some time for me to get comfortable with are the knee pads. When standing they ride just below the knee cap and feel strange. After wearing a few times I don't seem to notice them. When you bend or kneel the pads fall right into perfect position and are great on the knees. I will be wearing these pants with my tenacity cool core shirt every chance i get!

Well made
Haven't worn them for hunting yet but definitely like the pants. Needed to exchange the first pair for a longer inseam. I'm kind of in that between stage so the 32 inseam ended up better for me than the 30. Exchange was handled quickly. Pants are lightweight and seem very durable. Not sure if I'll use the knee pads or not but easy to remove if I don't want them. These were purchased for an elk hunt next September.

Little improvement please
I like the pants but I don’t like the snaps on the waist with base layers on if I bend down they un snaped .The knee pads didn’t fit my knees when kneeling down so I cut the bottom line of the foam pad off seemed to help. The zipper in the crotch needs to be longer .Used elk deer and duck hunting I know the zipper and the snaps can be improved on . Little room for improvement

Great Pattern, Lightweight, Tough, and very comfortable...
I love the pattern, it fits all the terrain perfectly here in Az., from the desert to the mountains...
There are several things I liked about the pants. One was the stretch band for the waist, that made it so comfortable to wear. Another thing was the deep pockets. You are always carrying stuff when hunting so it's nice to have a safe deep place for those items. I love the option for the knee pads, perfect for bow hunting. But I'm not a velcro fan, so i would like to see Pnuma swap it out with their zipper instead. I also loved the crotch and inseam idea. Sure makes kneeling down and climbing over stuff so much easier. And they are light weight so hiking all day is a non issue. They are tough too, walked and crawled through catclaw, stickers, rocks etc. and the pants held up great. Glad that i bought them....

Pros/Cons
I've had the pants for a year now. After first season, the knee abrasion pattern is pealing off and the adhesive that keeps the cargo pockets sealed has completely come apart. The fabric has been affected (picked) from walking through some brier on occasion. Thankfully they are guaranteed for life, so I am going to send them back for replacement (I hope) after this season. The pants feel great in temps down to 45F and are excellent for hotter weather. Fit and stretch-ability are top-notch.

Great Product
I'm very impressed with these pants, so much so that I ordered another pair already. Extremely well designed- they stay up well due to the silicone on the waistband and are extremely lightweight. There is absolutely no restriction of movement whatsoever. I can't speak to their water resistance since I haven't worn them in the rain yet. Haven't had any durability issues yet but I haven't done anything too crazy while wearing them. I really like the idea of built-in kneepads but they seem to ride a little low on my knees. Overall, the positives of these pants far outweigh this one little issue. I would recommend them to anyone. Wish they had more color options...

My new "Goto" pants
Very nice pant, I may replace my Cabelas microtex with these as my "goto" pants. Light but warm and full of movement, no restriction when climbing ladder stands, crossing fences etc. Very durable and lots of pocket storage room. Side snaps on cargo pockets a little difficult to close due to small size, but a minor issue. Does not allow shirts to come untucked due to elastic rubberized waist "shirt retainer?" need more came patterns.

Extememly impressed
Really impressed with these pants, I bought the pants strictly for a early season mule deer hunt in Nebraska. With temperatures over 100 degrees I was still able to stay cool while hunting and putting on many miles. I was extremely glad I spent the money, they were worth every penny. Very well thought out with all the features that these pants have to offer!

Well Designed
Very well made pants. Been using them Elk hunting thus far and am very pleased with them. Only real recommendation is to install a longer zipper. It seems a bit short when needing to - you know. Could stand to be a bit longer.

Even experienced hunting in the snow with them during several snowstorms. With just a light base-layer, was able to wear these and was completely comfortable.

Alpine hunting
Put these pants to the test in the mountains of Kodiak, AK. Overall, pretty satisfied with them. The fit was excellent, and the material had the stretch and durability to hold up in the mountains. I really like the reinforced knees and the pads were nice to have in the alpine. The pockets were very functional unlike most lightweight pants out there where they are too slim to fit anything in.
Cons: They did not breath very well for a lightweight pant. Even in the cool weather I found my legs getting hot while moving around. Some inner leg zip-vents would be fantastic. Also, the fabric had zero water repellancy. Any water immediately soaked into the material. In Alaska that's not exactly ideal. I'll try washing it in some tech-wash and hopefully that'll help. I also wasn't a huge fan of the Velcro for the knee openings and cuffs. Just seems to collect debri and immediately opens when snagged.
Overall, a great hunting pant. Could use some tweaks (leg vents)to make this ideal for strenuous alpine hunting, but the fit and comfort were very satisfactory. As long as Pnuma continues to make great products and stand behind them, they've got my support.

Worth every penny
Anymore, I have become accustomed to being slightly disappointed when I order things online. Rarely do things match up to the descriptions one finds online. When I received the package from Pnuma, the first pleasant surprise was the packaging, the pants came in a dry bag! Upon examining the pants, I could see evidence of thoughtful design and attention to detail. I was worried about how they would fit and was pleased to find the waist band has some elastic expansion joints. The inside of the band also has some silicone to hold your shirt tucked in. There are velcro tabs on the cuffs to tighten them around the tops of your boots and the overall fit is fantastic. If I have any criticism of these pants, it is that the knee pads are fairly hard and I would have expected them to be softer. That said, the pockets that hold them are well designed and it is easy to remove/replace the knee pads. I bought these for an early season elk hunt in Southern Oregon and the weight of the fabric seems to be just right.

All around gear
These pants are possibly the best outdoor investment I've made next to good boots. The features are great, adjustable cuffs at the ankles. Multiple access points on the pockets that allow use from whatever position your in. Durability, wow, I've worn them for multiple days in different environments. High altitude to open plains. Been tangled in barb wire fence, crawled long distance through red shale, still haven't even fazed them. Definitely gonna buy more. I'd recommend these to anyone.

Good and Bad
I tried these the same days I tried the Cool Core shirt. The shirt didn't fare so well with me. First day trying them was 85 by 10am and by mid afternoon we had a heat index of 113 here in North Georgia. The pants are well thought out and built to take a lot of abuse. Really only one complaint I have about the construction of them is the Velcro on the leg openings. I do not like Velcro on hunting clothes. They did not have the breathability I had hoped for.

Not the Lightest Pant but Toughest Pant Ever!
These pants are great! Stretch is great. Knee pad placement is perfect for me. However I still get hot in these pants compared to other brands of lightweight pants. They are heavier, but tougher than other lightweight pants. I stay comfortable 35 degrees up to about 75 degrees with exertion. 45-80 degrees without. I could use a cooler pant from Pnuma here in NM, early season where temps get to about 100 degrees. One thing that really bothers me is that I like to match and the color blend of the tenacity material, hat and pants, is much lighter than all the other Pnuma gear, which is disappointing to me because that is what I will wear most. Otherwise a great pant and well worth the money/warranty.

Excellent
First off, I think these products are pricey, especially for a guy on a budget. I could buy at least two pair of lesser quality pants for the same price. The key here being lesser quality. I wore these pants on about a dozen high plains predator hunts here in Colorado. Combined with the merlino wool underpants, my legs never got cold, even in the snow and several sub-freezing days. This is quite surprising considering how thin and light weight they are. Without question, the most comfortable hunting pants I have ever worn. And as light weight as they are, they hold up really well.

The knee pads are a great idea but for me, they hang to low and can be quite annoying while walking around. Lets face it though, everybody is built a little different and you cant expect that to work for everyone.

Next is customer service. I had a problem with a seam at one of the zippers of the cargo pocket come apart, making that pocket useless. It was clearly a manufacturing issue. I called Pnuma, received a return authorization number and shipped them off. Kinda sucked I had to pay for the shipping but it is what it is. The point is, a couple weeks later, I had a brand new pair of pants, no questions asked. Pnuma says they stand behind their products and they proved that to me.

Bottom line, a bit pricey but so far, quality and a company that stands behind their product make it worthwhile to me.

Good features bad fit
Pant features are great. Lots of pockets, comfortable, very strong yet lightweight. Little features like double snaps and zippers and molle straps are very smart. Biggest issue is size. I'm 6'3" and size 34 waist. I had to buy 34/32 and they are way too short. Fine when walking but moment I bend over they are too short. Knee pads are great but don't help because they are on my thighs when I bend down. I'm keeping pants b/c of features and overall comfort but for a company that highlights big and tall sizes, their pant sizes are very limited and don't work well for tall guys.

Solid Investment
These pants performed perfectly during late season bowhuting on our ranch in Mexico. When temperatures topped eighty degrees they were very comfortable both in a bow blind as well as stalking through thick brush. They are amazingly cactus resistant considering their light weight. The pants are true size, yet still enough room for a base layer.

This is how you build pants to fit!
Really pleased with these pants. Super comfortable with great features. Waist and inseam are spot on. I LOVE that these are not "low rise" pants!! It seems most of the other performance companies cut their pants like fashion jeans you find at the mall. Sure it's nice to eliminate extra bagginess in a garment, but if I'm going to be hiking awhile then "low rise" is a recipe for pain. Much appreciated Pnuma!

Highly recommend
I highly recommend these pants for early season hunting. I bought these pants on an impulse and wasn't sure what to expect but I used them in Sept and Oct in NE Washington chasing bruins and was thoroughly impressed. The Camo pattern is going to be perfect for everything from Coyotes to Turkey to Deer to Ducks. The comfort is unreal and they truly breath like you can't believe when your exerting yourself, better than any other synthetic pant I've used. The built in kneepads were fantastic. I used to strap kneepads on my pack and just put them on when needed for glassing or processing game but with these there is no need because they are comfortable enough to wear while walking even though they can be easily removed if you want. I see more Pnuma in my future and will be ordering a whole set very soon. Very impressed.

GOING TO BUY ALOT MORE!!!!!!!
Literally fit perfect. I was very nervous to buy the Tenacity pants and shirt and beanie online, considering I couldn't try any of it on. However, I went ahead and placed the order. I have been wearing the system since season opened on October 1st and I have not found a single thing that I don't like about any of it. The only downfall is that the temperature here in Indiana is usually hot, hence the reason I purchased this set up. Well, this year so far it has been cooler than normal, so I've had to layer underneath my system. Not a bad thing, but I will be ordering the heavier stuff from you guys very soon just so I can sport this company all year long! I hunt from a treestand, however, if I was to pick a system to wear out west on an Elk hunt that involves a lot of walking, I have no doubt in my mind it would be the Tenacity system. Seriously comfortable, very awesome! Also, have to say the camo pattern is way different than anything available, and that everyone that has seen me wearing Pnuma gear, has said it looks freaking awesome!

Unbelievable
Just got back from 12 days of hunting the prairie for mulies and Antilope, to say the pant are AWESOME is an understatement, they got put through some of the harshest enviroments, cactus, sage, rocks creek bottoms u name it and held up awesome. The built in knee pads were unbelievably comfortable. We had temps from 40 in the morning to 90 in afternoon, i never had to add a base layer or felt to warm. But to me the most impressive was how wind and water resistant or proof these pant are. I also left my rain pants in the truck after a few days of realizing these pant kept me plenty dry. Very impressed and will be purchasing more Pnuma product shortly THANKS

Montana Breaks Elk Hunt
Honestly the greatest pants I'very ever worn period. 4 days 40 miles later. TENACITY pants held up to everything I could throw at them. From barb-wire, creek crossings to army crawling. I couldn't find one thing I didn't like about on these. Im nothing but impressed, Thank you Pnuma

Perfromance
I picked up a pair of these pants for an elk hunt. They were amazing. It rained pretty much twice a day and they held their own to the rain. Half way through the trip when we switched areas, I felt comfortable leaving my rain pants in the truck.

Pretty sweet!
Just opened my box. And much to my surprise the pants came in a dry bag! Tried on the pants and boy am I ready to get out in the woods! Lightweight and feel very nice. I have a tough time giving 5 stars, maybe once I wear them outside of my livingroom, my rating will change. The pants were a guinea pig, now I need a jacket!
