At our best, when conditions are at their worst.

Porelle® Extreme has set the bar for the finest waterproof, breathable membrane in the industry. Lightweight, windproof, comfortable, and durable, Porelle® high-performance technology has earned its place in the Pnuma Selkirk All-Weather Jacket and Pant for breathability with a Moisture Vapor Transfer (MVT) rating of 120,000—a rating that’s more than twice the MVT breathability rating of other hunting apparel on the market, at any price, for any conditions. Which means you stay warmer, drier, and more comfortable no matter how extreme conditions get.

3M™ Scotchgard™ DWR. The proof is in how dry you’ll stay.

3M™ Scotchgard™ DWR (Durable Water Repellent) is a finish added to shell fabric to make it water-repellent (hydrophobic), preventing the outer layer of fabric from “wetting out” or becoming saturated with water, which will keep you drier and more comfortable, longer.

True sizing means true fit.

Whether you’re looking at hunting base layers that will keep you warm, dry and comfortable all day, outer layers that protect you from wild swings in conditions while you’re in the backcountry, or anything in between, the right fit is imperative for optimal gear performance. That’s why we offer True Fit on all Pnuma hunting clothing.

In order to ensure you get the right gear sized to your needs, we give you a 30-day True Fit period. Purchase any Pnuma hunting apparel products and if they don’t fit correctly or you’re dissatisfied in any way simply send them back within 30 days. All returned items must be in new, re-sellable condition. You’ll receive a full refund.

In addition to traditional medium through XXXL, all Pnuma hunting jackets are available in Tall sizes. We’ve designed them with an additional 2” in torso length and 1.5” in the sleeves. The inseam on The Insulator pant has an additional 2” in length. No more swimming in a larger size to get the length you need.

All of our pants, with the exception of The Insulator pant and base layers, are available by waist and inseam. So, whether you’re a 32”/34”, a 40”/36”, or any other combination, you can order the size that fits you, not just the size that fits most.

And since we know that the human body, at rest or in motion, has natural bends and curves in the arms and legs, every top and bottom in every layer we offer has active-contoured elbows and knees to help improve fit and function even further. Even our gloves are designed with curved fingers to replicate the natural shape of our hands.

That means you can order your size and head to the field with confidence knowing you have exactly the right gear - in the right size - for you.

SilverStrike™ Antimicrobial. Nature’s scent control.

Microbes are living cells like bacteria, fungi and algae that can grow on many materials creating foul odors, discoloration, and formation of mildew and biofilm. Put your gear away wet and you know exactly what we’re talking about. The antimicrobial properties of silver, unlike harsh chemical treatments, have been known for centuries. Applying it to outdoor gear is still a great way to combat odor. SilverStrike advanced antimicrobial fabric technology prevents the formation and growth of bacteria and other odor-causing microbes, keeping garments smelling fresher—and you staying undetected—longer.

Selkirk lightweight jacket
Bought this jacket for the Pa spring turkey season as well as Waypoint pant. have worn it in field 3 times. One of days was very cold and jacket is really just a waterproof shell which was what I wanted. With layering was totally comfortable. Haven’t worn in rain yet but own many Pnuma products that are great in wet weather the hood does not roll up but doesn’t get in way. Zippers are good and like the chest pocket I’m 6 ft 240 lbs 2Xl fits great

Satisfied but could be better
Great jacket. Thanks for serving the "tall" community. Quality gear is way too hard to find in tall sizes. I purchased the jacket as a wind/ rain shell and I find it to be exceptional at both.

Things I hope are incorporated into the next generation of this garment:

1. Zippers - the main zipper is high quality. It would be much better if it were a two way zipper that could make it easier to sit down and spread out and still keep the top zipped up. Currently I have to pull the bottom of the jacket above my butt to sit down with the jacket zippered.

2. The pocket zippers are less rugged and the pockets are too small. First hunt I went on, I put my range finder in my right pocket and had my bow in my left hand. When a deer presented itself, I could not get my hand out of the pocket while holding the range finder. Frustrating!

3. Pull tabs on all of the zippers is a definite requirement. The current jacket has the smallest zippers I have ever seen on a hunting garment. The storm flap that keeps water out of the pockets also makes reaching the zipper tab nearly impossible. Big guys have big hands and zippered pockets should not require removing the jacket to operate the zippers. Assume your purchaser will have a gloved hand when using your garments and then figure out pocket size and zipper configuration.

4. In the photos online, it appears that in one photo that the hood is "stored" and that the garment possibly has a way to roll up and store the hood. It does not. I think I would like the jacket to have this ability.

5. The cuffs are elastic not velcro. I do not think this is mentioned in the description. All of my previous all weather jackets have had velcro. Not sure I like the elastic but so far it is effective.

6. Showing photos and specific descriptions of the inside of the garments would be extremely helpful. Is it napped? smooth? quilted? etc. Those items that help determine ability to layer would be great to know prior to purchase. I have purchased gear in the past that has a napped interior and found it to be impossible to wear over a napped base layer. This garment has a smooth interior and layers beautifully.

7. I hope Pnuma takes my review to heart and improves this item. These are minor and inexpensive corrections that will significantly improve this item.

Must have layer
I purchased this prior to my archery elk hunt this year to use as a rain jacket and as a light layer. I also brought my selkirk jacket for warmth on colder days but primarily used this coat for the entire 2 week trip. It's great because it cuts the wind and keeps you dry. It's also quiet too, which is really nice. I was able to layer under it and had no problem with movement in it. Would highly recommend this coat to use on the chilly days with layering and to throw on over other layers if a storm pops up while out in the field.

Qulity gear
Purchased the jacket and pants for an October moose hunt in northern Maine. Had a few days of wind and driving rain and stayed dry except for at the cuffs and where the jacket overlapped the pants. Breathed exceptionally well as we did some extensive hiking. Certainly performed better than Gore-Tex that my companions were wearing. Easy to layer under to adjust to temperatures. I own the all weather gear too and these have performed in a similar fashion. Company has excellent customer service. I would recommend either outfit.

Almost there, when is the 2.0 coming out?
The build quality is good. The hand pocket zippers too small, and get buried in the open position, Trying to grab with anything other than your bare hands is simply impossible. Consider adding grab strings or making them a size bigger and having them stop a little more away from the end. The Chest pocket is a too small, and should be bigger. My Cabalas jacket has a larger more usable pocket. The XLT size fits nice - I'm 6'5" 225 and it fits over my other layers. The hood is great. The cuffs are non adjustable and strange to get used to but do keep the cold out. Almost forgot, it is waterproof.

Great Outer Layer that Allows Layering
I added the Selkirk Endurance jacket to my growing Pnuma collection in preparation for a SE Alaska black bear/sitka deer hunt. This review will cover fit only since I haven't had it out in the field yet. I'm 6'-2" and 200# and usually wear a large on top. I ordered the XL with the intention of it being large enough to wear over a few layers. It is loose through the chest, but the arm length is just right for me. With layers underneath it should fit great. This is a shell only and has no insulation, which would make it great for early season hunts. With a few thermal layers it would be fine for cold weather and give you the option to strip layers during hiking. I like the hood configuration and it seems like it'd keep water off your face better than most rain jackets. The hand pockets have a flap protecting them and the zippers are waterproof.

Selkirk Endurance Jacket
Just received my Selkirk Endurance jacket/raincoat. I am 5'7 175 lbs. with an athletic build. I ordered an XL. The fit allowed for true layering with comfort and flexibility. After the Mn. winter ends and April showers arrive I'll submit a waterproof/ mvt review. the coat has great fit and finish.

Selkirk Endurance Jacket
Just received my new jacket/raincoat. I am 5'7 175lbs. athletically built. The X-L I ordered allowed for true layering without sacrificing quality of comfort or flexibility. Until this Mn. winter is over my review on the waterproof and M.V.T. will have to wait. So far am very pleased with my purchase. 5 stars on fit and finish.

Missed the mark.
In fairness I'm not the type to pull any punches on gear reviews. There are a lot of nice features about this jacket, most notably its breathability and light weight. There are a couple small things I dont like such as the waist pull cords being in the front pockets and the hood doesn't fit right when you have another hat on underneath it.

Above all else is that it failed me in heavy rain. Failed miserably actually. I don't think the fabric leaked it just allowed the water to seep in from the sleeve cuffs. Once it did that it just soaked the whole inside of each sleeve. I was miserable. It will be interesting to see how they handle the return.

This hunting jacket is what Ive been needing for years. I sat all day in a down pour and when I got back to camp, my base layers were bone dry. Best gear on the market.

Nice but a little thin
I was expecting a little more for the price, but it comes with a lifetime guarantee so that says a lot. It's just a shell nothing else, it seems to run large compared to other XL jackets that I've had plenty of room for layering and long enough to cover the waist well. The cuffs could be improved on by making them adjustable. It is waterproof no question about that, I have worn it in all day down pours and it kept me dry. I would give this a 4.5 because of the cuffs and not being more than just a shell. I also love the pattern.
