We didn’t simply improve extreme-weather performance. We ran up the score.

You measure comfort in extreme conditions by how dry and warm you stay. The hunting apparel industry measures it by Moisture Vapor Transfer (MVT) ratings for waterproofness and breathability. The higher the MVT rating the drier and more comfortable you will be. Until now, the highest breathability ratings on the market were between 20,000 and 50,000. Check some sites. You know the ones. The breathability rating of the ultra-thin Porelle Extreme membrane in the Pnuma Selkirk All-Weather Hunting Pant checks in at an unstoppable 120,000. Plus, it’s soft, flexible, and quiet even when cold. That means you stay warmer, dryer, and more silent in the toughest conditions and at full draw. 120,000 compared to anything less? Game over. Add in a fleece lining for warmth, DuraGuard™ non-slip, wear-resistant overlays on jacket shoulders and elbows, world-class YKK waterproof zippers, quiet, rubberized snaps, six strategically and common-sense placed pockets and the Pnuma Selkirk All-Weather Hunting Jacket wins by the Slaughter Rule.

At our best, when conditions are at their worst.

Porelle® Extreme has set the bar for the finest waterproof, breathable membrane in the industry. Lightweight, windproof, comfortable, and durable, Porelle® high-performance technology has earned its place in the Pnuma Selkirk All-Weather Jacket and Pant for breathability with a Moisture Vapor Transfer (MVT) rating of 120,000—a rating that’s more than twice the MVT breathability rating of other hunting apparel on the market, at any price, for any conditions. Which means you stay warmer, drier, and more comfortable no matter how extreme conditions get.

3M™ Scotchgard™ DWR. The proof is in how dry you’ll stay.

3M™ Scotchgard™ DWR (Durable Water Repellent) is a finish added to shell fabric to make it water-repellent (hydrophobic), preventing the outer layer of fabric from “wetting out” or becoming saturated with water, which will keep you drier and more comfortable, longer.

True sizing means true fit.

Whether you’re looking at hunting base layers that will keep you warm, dry and comfortable all day, outer layers that protect you from wild swings in conditions while you’re in the backcountry, or anything in between, the right fit is imperative for optimal gear performance. That’s why we offer True Fit on all Pnuma hunting clothing.

In order to ensure you get the right gear sized to your needs, we give you a 30-day True Fit period. Purchase any Pnuma hunting apparel products and if they don’t fit correctly or you’re dissatisfied in any way simply send them back within 30 days. All returned items must be in new, re-sellable condition. You’ll receive a full refund.

In addition to traditional medium through XXXL, all Pnuma hunting jackets are available in Tall sizes. We’ve designed them with an additional 2” in torso length and 1.5” in the sleeves. The inseam on The Insulator pant has an additional 2” in length. No more swimming in a larger size to get the length you need.

All of our pants, with the exception of The Insulator pant and base layers, are available by waist and inseam. So, whether you’re a 32”/34”, a 40”/36”, or any other combination, you can order the size that fits you, not just the size that fits most.

And since we know that the human body, at rest or in motion, has natural bends and curves in the arms and legs, every top and bottom in every layer we offer has active-contoured elbows and knees to help improve fit and function even further. Even our gloves are designed with curved fingers to replicate the natural shape of our hands.

That means you can order your size and head to the field with confidence knowing you have exactly the right gear - in the right size - for you.

SilverStrike™ Antimicrobial. Nature’s scent control.

Microbes are living cells like bacteria, fungi and algae that can grow on many materials creating foul odors, discoloration, and formation of mildew and biofilm. Put your gear away wet and you know exactly what we’re talking about. The antimicrobial properties of silver, unlike harsh chemical treatments, have been known for centuries. Applying it to outdoor gear is still a great way to combat odor. SilverStrike advanced antimicrobial fabric technology prevents the formation and growth of bacteria and other odor-causing microbes, keeping garments smelling fresher—and you staying undetected—longer.

Cold Weather Coat
High Quality jacket I can use when temperature is below about 60 degrees depending on physical activity. Is very warm and on long hikes it isn't the way to go if temp is above 65 degrees or so. Haven't tested it yet in a rain storm but kitchen tests prove it should do its job. Great outerwear for midwest deer hunting and should please even the most discriminating bowhunter (I can be picky) for quietness.

Since consumers can't try them on in a store, I suggest an ambient temperature rating for your garments so people can estimate what weather they might best be able to use them in.

Good, but heavy
So far it is a very well constructed jacket. It seems very warm, but note this is not a light jacket for those of you who backpack or hike in long distances. This jacket is pretty hefty when compared to my Kingscamo XKG Lone Peak jacket.

Super soft = quiet
This coat is much more than I expected. Super soft inside and out. I have yet to explore all the features but could not wait to post a review on how pleased I am with this garment. Pnuma has never let me down. What more can I say, I love it!

I now own both the Waypoint and Selkirk sets.
The product is outstanding! The thing that I do not see posted in other reviews is the camo type or pattern itself, so I wanted to talk little about my experience with Pnuma Camo used in the Northeast...
I hunt Whitetail in Michigan, NY and PA > I spend about 400 hrs. a year in the woods and have several locations that allow me to see deer passing through all day long. I started using Pnuma last year and the first time out noticed a big difference in how the deer were reacting to me when looking in my direction and in some cases walking past me at 10 yards. I never got busted last year and in some cases had deer (bucks) look directly at me in the stand and in the blind ...... they all seemed to look right through me and that was a big difference from my old camo. In one case I had a spike eat leaves off a branch 2 feet away from me, that was a huge rush, I kid you not I could had reached up at touched him on the nose.
Last year I had the best hunting year ever as to success in filling all my tags and even tried (successfully) to stalk a whitetail with my bow!
Pnuma gear is the best hunting tool I have and has my highest recommendation as a now 35 + year Hunter. Worth the investment, top quality stuff and best of all it works.... 27:3 , Dave

Awful thin for winter.....WHATEVER!
I was excited to receive this after trying a few of Pnuma products. I definitely was not disappointed. This coat (more like a jacket) is surprisingly thin. DO NOT let that fool you! My hunting season is over but I still put it to the best test I could. Here in Illinois we had our typical January winter storms, having said that, 35 mph sustained winds with 45 mph gust. Temps around 18, I had a T-shirt only on and this "coat"..........absolutely no wind penetration and good warmth! Added the Cascade hoodie later and was more than happy. Attention to detail is very appreciated, from zippers to hidden draw strings all over. love the fit! 6'6" 230lbs 2XTall ....NICE. Thank You again Pnuma for Quality gear, hope you are in buisness for many years to come GOD willing!

Sleeves are Tight and Hard to get on
Bought this jacket for two Trips out west fall of 2017. First trip was Colorado Rifle Elk and the Jacket was warm and did a good job cutting wind. Second trip was a Late Rifle hunt in eastern Montana with cold temps. Jacket worked great for warmth paired with a vest. My biggest problem with the Jacket is that when trying to put on the jacket and get my arms through the sleeves whether i was wearing a long sleeve shirt or not i had to push very hard and pull the fabric from the inside otherwise my hand and arm get caught on the fabric. Due to this fabric catching i noticed some stitching coming undone when i put my Jacket up for the end of the year and will be looking to have this corrected by Pnuma.

Best Jacket/Pant hunting outfit!!
I purchased the jacket/pants this fall and recently used it on a hunt in South Dakota that had about every type of weather. The jacket performed perfectly. I stayed warm, dry and comfortable in temps from teens to 40's while covering a few miles each day. The jacket and pants worked so well I just purchased the jacket for my son as a gift.

First impression of the jacket is great. The cut is perfect, sleeves are plenty long, body length comes down slightly over your seat to keep the drafts out when sitting and even though it is athletic fit there is still room to layer. I have had Sitka Gear for several years but no more, same lifetime warranty for a lot less money and I can get almost all garments in a tall size.

Can't Wait to Try It Out !
I will have to wait until next hunting season to try it out, but I like the design with the Venting Zips and Extra Pockets.

I ordered a Large Coat, but had to return it for an XL to allow for room to layer additional cloths, due to the fact at my age I am no longer the Athletic Cut.

Almost perfect but sleeves are bad
Great jacket for most part, very quiet , water proof. Wind does seem to blow through. Sizing was perfect just get your normal size.

Only downfall are the sleeves they are just a terrible design. They are too tight and hard to wear anything under them

Very good material
I bought the jacket after having the pants for last fall. The jacket fits really well. I’m a tall thin guy at 6’7” 175 lbs. The sleeves are nice and long. The quality of the jacket is really good and I like the variety of pockets and the vents built into the coat.

My one issue with the jacket is the material on the inside of the sleeves. It is a fleece type material and it makes it very difficult to put the coat on over long sleeves. Once the coat is on you have to reach up and get the sleeves from your shirt pulled down.

feels really good
This jacket has replaced my Cabelas hunting jacket totally, quiet and warm, rain resistant and feels "really good and soft, like a robe" lots of pockets for rangefinder, phone etc. Wish i bought the matching bibs when they went on sale in early season

Only system you’ll ever need
Great jacket! I’m 6-3, 230 so I ordered the xl tall and it fits like a glove with room to layer underneath. I hunt in Michigan all season long. So far I’ve only been able to use it the past two weeks but I love it. With the right layering you can sit all day. I like the number and placement of pockets on the jacket. It’s streamlined to be able to shoot without being bulky. I have yet to test it in the wind and snow but so far it’s amazing. I purchased the bibs as well and like this set up for stand hunting. It’ll really get the test next September in Montana for elk season which I’m looking forward to because this elk season I was wearing clothes from another manufacturer and it just doesn’t live up to what Pnuma is putting out. And you can’t beat the lifetime warranty. I will definitely be purchasing more products from Pnuma

Great gear
I ordered the jacket and bibs, hands down the best. The product is quiet, waterproof, very comfortable and made extremely well. I hunt in northern Michigan and wore the set for the first time in a little 16 degree, pre-season snow, in my climber. The gear kept me warm and comfortable. Worth every penny and the quality is top notch.

Selkirk Bib & Jacket
I bought both the Jacket and the pants; being a female hunter I have issues finding warm gear that fits and is quiet. For the most part I am happy with the system as I’ve worn it to -20c in Canada to +7 and I was able to wear it in all conditions with different layers and it’s light enough and slim enough fitting that it makes hiking 8-10km relatively easy and not cumbersome while being warm enough for a long sit in a blind. Although some things that would be nice as an upgrade if they do a women’s line would be to have a roomier cut over the hip with the jacket it’s a bit snug but not uncomfortable, knee pads in the pants to add some padding when kneeling for extended periods of time and to keep dry when kneeling in snow/wet conditions and a belt or some or of attachment to be able to carry a knife.

Best jacket in the industry.
This is by far the finest made and thought out garment I’ve ever worn. It’s way more then I was expecting. Very breathable and water proof. I also love all the pockets that are put in all the right places. I’m sold on pnuma products.

Excellence found. Extremely breathable and never was wet. Cut in pants is difficult to understand. Definitely not sized for my average build. Seems to be really short from crotch to waist line. Upside your waist size too. Quality is outstanding.

Selkirk and Pnuma is exactly as advertised!
Been considering Pnuma for the last year.....after "bugging" them with questions I pulled the trigger on the Selkirk complete outfit. I am thoroughly impressed with what showed up in the mail - one very fast day after ordering. This clothing is the real deal. It is well made, fits great, features are "tough" and I cannot wait to try it out in the field. The Selkirk is whisper quiet, waterproof and breathable. Drawstrings where they should be, zippers are strong, overall look awesome. I will be buying more Pnuma products.

If you don't mind collecting elements on suit and its tightness, it's a good suit.
I have bought the SelKirk jacket and pants. Tried it once on Colorado elk hunt. It kept me warm with some wool baseline. It it waterproof and light. It collect all kinds of elements which is very hard to clean. Pants is tailored badly. Tight on the crotch with a short zipper that sewed high so that men have to take the pants off if they need to go!!. Jacket is also tight so that it would not allow some layers in very cold weather. For the price, I expected a flawless suit.

Great Stuff
This is a great system. I spent 7 solid days of continuous rain in the mountains of Washington and never felt the dampness. The pattern is so good that a doe collided with me while I was standing on a little hummock. She didn't even notice and stopped about 15 feet from me to graze. Too young to shoot but an amazing test of the gear. Highly recommended.

Pleasantly Surprised
Workmanship is excellent. Since I've purchased the jacket I've used it for late season bow hunting in PA. The material is quiet with a snug fit on the arms, thus will not interfere with the bow string. This jacket was definitely designed for for the needs of a hunter. I was very happy to find a tall cut in a medium size. I like the concept of a two in one jacket (waterproof), although I haven't had an opportunity to test it out in a good long steady rain. This jacket should satisfy my needs covering a wide variety of hunting conditions from east to west. I give this jacket 5 stars.

Amazing coat but.....
I've used this coat all winter long for waterfowl hunting. Has keeped me warm and dry even in the horrible Oregon rain. I give this 4 stars because one problem I have with it is the sleeves at the wrist. The sleeves on the coat are way to tight for when on cold days I have worn my Pnuma insulator jacket and it makes it hard to get my hands thru the sleeve of coat. Which also makes it very uncomfortable and the insulator jacket and coat get way to bundled up at my wrist. A $300 coat should be flawless, even though it's a minor issue that I have, I feel like I shouldn't have any issues at all.

Best jacket I have ever owned!!
Well just got done with deer hunting season and was was very impressed with overall performance of the jacket. Had various weather conditions from rain, snow and below freezing temps and the jacket performed great. I really liked the room in the arms section of the jacket to allow proper laying of under garments. Pockets were placed well thru out the jacket. One thing would be to improve to larger zipper on main part of jacket, hard to use with gloves.

This jacket worked great for opening week in PA. The weather changed from mild, to pouring rain, to cold and windy and this jacket kept me dry and warm everyday from sun up to sun down in the field. The jacket fits well and allows alot of mobility. Best jacket yet....Good job..

Its perfect!
I purchased this coat for elk hunting in the rockies. I didn't get to use it on that elk hunt. At this time, I'm deer hunting outside of buffalo NY. Yep we got a snow storm. What a great coat. It really breaths great. I didn't sweat in it. It kept my dry in wind driven snow and sleet. The hood works great. The vents and pockets are laid out to perfection. It has become my favorite coat. Nice job Pnuma!!

This is a well-made hunting jacket!
I recently ordered the Selkirk jacket and am very impressed with it. It fits and looks great and performs as advertised. I really appreciate all the details engineered into this jacket. I will definitely order other Pnuna products and will likely buy a complete system.

Just received the Selkirk jacket today and my first impression is that this is a very well made product. The finish of the material is quite, and seemed to give a good range of motion in the shoulders and sleeves. I am not the "athletic fit" that many clothing companies seem to focus on, but my normal size fit me just fine.
I have used many different brands of clothing over the years (I am somewhat of a gear junky and a big part of the excitement of the hunt is getting new gear to try out) I will be wearing it in the field this weekend and will provide more feedback after it has had a chance to "weather" the elements.
