I have used the heated vest about 8 times now and it was ,omey well spent. It heats up very fast and will really warm you up good. Im cold natured so when im in the stand and its very cold, I turn it on high for about 5 minutes then turn it down and I stay pretty comfortable. Its really helped me out and Im able to take off one thick fleece layer because of the vest

Purchased for hunting but been using this ice fishing since hunting season is closed now. Fantastic as it's let me stay out of the ice house unless the wind chill hit the negatives. I figure since it is "next to skin" layer and I'm layering over that for ice fishing then I'm not going to "stink" it up and will be fine hunting later.

Pros: I was impressed on how quick the delivery was. I also appreiciated the Veterans discount I received.
Cons: I am a color blind person and I am not able to distinguish the difference in colors except for the blue color. This makes choosing the desired heat level extremely difficult for me. It would be better to have a number system for determing the heat level rather then colors. Do you have any suggestions as far as my situation to make the heat level choice easier to do. There must be a lot of other color blind users of this vest who have the same problem.

Have worn the ICONX heated core vest multiple times. Each time I have had the setting on low and was plenty warm. Fit according to size chart. This is one of those purchases that I wish I’d made long ago.
